OUR MISSION STATEMENT
Gospelink was established for the purpose of advancing the gospel throughout the world. It is our belief that this objective can be best accomplished by assisting national preachers who are actively involved in church planting and discipleship. Through prayer and financial assistance national preachers are empowered, their evangelistic outreach is enhanced, and their church planting efforts are accelerated.
There are great spiritual needs throughout the world and it is estimated that between 15% and 25% of the world’s population is beyond the present proclamation of the gospel message. That means that over 1 billion people still need the opportunity to hear the gospel for the first time!
--------------------------
The manpower and resources are available to advance the gospel, and Gospelink completes this vital connection. Through the sponsorship of national preachers, western resources are directly linked to developing and needy countries with the unified goal of spreading the Word of God. From our humble beginning Gospelink has sewn the seeds of salvation and hope. Larger projects will be self supporting once completed and provide income and hunger relief for much of the local population.
Presently Gospelink sponsors national preachers in:
AFRICA - Zimbabwe, Zambia, Malawi, Tanzania, Democratic Republic of the Congo and Mozambique.

EASTERN EUROPE  - Russia, Ukraine

ASIA - India
ADVANTAGES OF ASSISTING A NATIONAL PREACHER

God desires to be worshipped by all of the nations, tribes and peoples of the world. There are over 5 billion people in the world today who do not know Jesus as their personal Savior! There are approximately 10,000 people groups who have no one taking the gospel to them. One way to change these facts is to accelerate the spreading of the gospel. This is what Gospelink is seeking to do. We want to help mobilize the third world church in spreading the gospel. The national preacher has many advantages over the foreign missionary:

Finances - This is one of the biggest advantages of doing missionary work through the national preacher. To be full time in the ministry the national preacher living in a third world economy only needs about $50.00 per month. In this same economy the average foreign missionary will need between $4,000 and $5,000 per month to live. Gospelink can support approximately 40 to 50 national preachers for every foreign missionary in these same countries. Now, there is a way to accelerate the spreading of the gospel!

Citizenship - He needs no passport or visa to reach the people. He is a citizen of his country and he can travel freely without the red tape of being a foreigner. Though he may be persecuted for his faith, because of his citizenship, he is still able to minister within the nation.

Time - Today the average foreign missionary must spend at least two years raising their financial support. Every three to four years they must come home and spend 6-12 months raising more support. The national preacher does not have this disadvantage. They are able to spend 100% of their time in the mission field serving the Lord.

Lack of Culture Shock - The major cause of attrition among Western missionaries is an inability to adapt to the differences in culture. The national preacher does not experience any “culture shock.” He grew up without electricity and running water in his home. He enjoys the local foods and customs. The difficulties of transportation and communication are an accepted way of life.

Language - The national preacher does not need to spend any time learning a new language in order to minister in his nation. In fact, many of these preachers grew up speaking three to four tribal languages. They know the idioms and the correct tones of the languages. This gives them an incredible advantage over the foreign missionary.
