Bruce Gephart

Bruce grew up near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.  He and his wife Sandy have been married for 40 years, and currently reside in Hagerstown, Maryland.  The Lord has blessed them with two children, Julie and Jeff, both of whom are grown and living on the West Coast.

Following a brief career in chemical engineering, Bruce answered the Lord’s call and prepared for the ministry, earning a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies from Bob Jones University.  He pastored for over thirty years, serving in three churches (two Independent Bible and one Independent Baptist) located in Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Maryland. 

Having always had a heart for missions, Bruce’s desire has been to do all he can help spread the Word to the uttermost parts of the earth.  So, after retiring from the pastorate, he became a volunteer regional representative for Gospelink.  He believes that linking native pastors with sponsors in the USA is the most efficient way to fulfill the Great Commission.  He shares the work of Gospelink in areas of Maryland, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia near his home in Hagerstown.
