Joshua was born into a good Christian family. His father was an educational officer and his mother, a teacher. As a child, Joshua would often memorize scriptures and attend the Sunday worship service, and even sang in the church choir. Though he did these things, he did not know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior.

One day, after attending a special youth meeting organized by the church, Joshua responded to an altar call. He went forward and accepted Jesus as Lord and Savior. God revealed his sinful nature, and one by one he confessed his sins to God. For the first time, Joshua knew he truly was a child of God in accordance with John 1:12! He was filled with peace, joy, and a love for God’s Word. He spent a lot of time in prayer and in fellowship with other believers. The Lord gave him a great passion for reaching lost souls through open-air evangelism.

The Lord called Joshua to full-time ministry through Isaiah 6:8. Obeying the call, he completed a Bachelor of Theology Degree in 1980. After that, he spent time attending seminars and reading books on the subjects of church planting and church growth. The Lord guided him to plant churches in villages that had not yet been reached with the Gospel. He enabled Joshua to train many other church planters so that they too could spread God’s Word. To this day, he continues to obey the heavenly vision as God uses him to equip and train others for church planting and ministry work.
