Bululu Mikombe is from the Congo D.R. Her father passed away fighting malaria and typhoid. After this tragedy, Bululu along with her mother and three siblings moved into her grandparent's house. In 2010, another tragedy struck Bululu and her family: her mother also lost her fight with typhoid and left Bululu and her three siblings orphaned. 

I am Bululu’s grandfather. Bululu’s mother (my daughter) moved into my house with her kids after the death of her husband, and my wife and I assumed the full responsibility of the children after their mother’s death.

I am blessed to raise them and teach them about the Lord. However, tough economic times have kept me from sending Bululu to school. I am struggling just to make ends meet and just don’t have finances. 

Bululu has quite a few hobbies. Her favorite is rope jumping. Blue is her favorite color. She loves eating too and her favorite food is rice along with meat. Bululu is a wonderful child with keen interest in learning. She can communicate in both Swahili and French. She loves learning more about French as a language, and she would love to continue learning at school. Thank you for helping her to achieve success in her life through your sponsorship.
