Kazakhstan
The Kazakh Church continues to grow in number and stature. From virtually no Kazakh believers in 1990, there were about 15,000 in 2010! They meet in over 100 Kazakh-speaking congregations. Two-thirds of the country’s raions (districts) have a Christian witness. Kazakhstan is over 50% Muslim and, as a nation, is closed to the Gospel of Jesus Christ. But despite man's best efforts to stifle the good news, it is only growing!
In order to protect the Kazakh preachers, we will not post their names or photos. The danger is very real for believers in this part of the world.
