Joseph is from Tanzania. His father, John Bonifas passed away in 2006 from HIV. Joseph’s mother most likely contracted HIV from her husband and passed away, as well, in 2009.

I came in touch with Joseph through a ministry to the poor and needy in our region of Tanzania. During one of the visits, I met  young Joseph and I quickly took notice of his dire situation. After talking with my family, we decided to take him into our home and meet his needs. 

The orphan sponsorship you are considering will make a huge difference in Joseph’s life. It will provide Joseph with assurance of food, clothes, shelter and other basic necessities. Along with the basic necessities it will allow me to send him to school which will provide him with a better future. The orphan sponsorship will also provide Joseph with access to medical facilities if needed.

Joseph is an only child, and has a quiet personality. He loves to play football with other kids and loves eating rice. He can communicate in Swahili and is a keen learner. I request all of you out there to give Joseph an opportunity to have a better future. I would like to personally thank you for your support and prayers. I acknowledge the sacrifices all of you have made to help kids like Joseph and would like to thank you again on behalf of all of them.
