Before I became a Christian, I was a very jealous and prideful person.  I could never admit to doing anything wrong to my friends and family members.

One time, I was very sick and was taken to the hospital and admitted for treatment.  Pastor Banda came to pray for me and I was healed.  This showed me the power of God and made me realize that I better change and make Jesus the Lord of my life.

Since that time, I do not behave the same way I used to because Jesus is in control of my life.  I have realized that I am a sinner and Jesus died for my sins.  The only pride I have now is in what Jesus did for me on the cross.  When I do something that is wrong, I am now able to offer an apology.  I am grateful for my pastor as he has helped me to grow spiritually by having Bible studies and praying for me.
