Until the day I became a Christian, my life was very difficult as I lived in darkness. I became careless with my life. I started using abusive language and chose to hang around with bad company. I had no desire to read God’s Word which contributed to the evil things that I was doing.
It was in 2003 when my uncle’s landlord shared the Word of God with me. As he read Scripture to me, I was compelled to make a decision to accept Christ Jesus as my Savior. In 2004, I was baptized by Rev. Maxon Phiri. He and his family have shown me how to live as a Christian and to seek God’s will for my life. I continue to grow spiritually as I read God’s Word and learn about His love for me.
My life has totally changed in the way that I know the difference between good and bad. As a Christian, I know that I must choose the good things over evil. The good will always bring less pain and strife to me and my family. God continues to bless me each day with his love and care. I am full of joy and happiness as I make better decisions in my daily life.
I am grateful for the opportunity to attend a Christian college. I thank you for your love for me and your continued prayers as I complete my studies. I also thank you for all the sacrifices you will make on my behalf.
