Mationesa is a young lady who lives in the country of Zimbabwe.  When Mationesa was just three years old, her father became ill.  He suffered for many months with the pain of tuberculosis.  In those last months, he was lead to the Lord and eventually passed away at home.  In April of 2009, Mationesa’s mother also became ill with tuberculosis.  She was being treated in the hospital but was unable to overcome the illness and passed away in the hospital.

I came to know this family as they were members of my church.  Upon Mationesa’s father passing away, although young, she continued to come to church.  I started helping the family soon after the death of her father.  After Mationesa’s mother passed away, she went to live with relatives but the situation continued to get worse.  My wife, before she passed away, and I decided to bring Mationesa to live with us where she is now doing very well.

Through your assistance, I will be able to continue to provide Mationesa with food and shelter.  I will also be able to meet her other physical needs as well as medical, educational, and spiritual needs such as school books and uniforms, and medicine if necessary.

Mationesa is a beautiful young lady who enjoys school with her favorite subject being math.  She enjoys playing tennis and her favorite food is rice with chicken.  I sincerely thank you for any sacrifices you will be making on behalf of yourself in order to assist in providing for Mationesa.
