Four steps of initial accountability must be met in order to qualify a national preacher to receive assistance through Gospelink. Once these requisites are met, efforts are made to provide the national preacher with sponsorship assistance in three areas: ministry, outreach, and training. To maintain their assistance through Gospelink, the remaining four steps of accountability must be followed.
Recommendations are only accepted from a trusted source with a long term, personal relationship with the one being referred.
A thorough application must be completed by those seeking assistance, evaluating their doctrine, training, ministry experience, and family information.
In order to be considered for assistance, national preachers must have at least two years of ministry and church planting experience.
Regional and national directors must evaluate and approve the character and Biblical requisites of each preacher being considered for assistance.
All national preachers are required to complete a quarterly ministry update. Updates are translated (as necessary) and a copy is sent to each sponsor.
Regional directors visit with the preachers each quarter to distribute sponsorship funds, to collect updates, to discuss their ministries, and to provide encouragement and guidance.
All preachers send occasional photographs of their ministry involvement.
Accountability trips are taken by Gospelink staff and representatives to encourage the preachers, provide further training, and to document their ministries.
