TYPES OF FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE FOR NATIONAL PREACHERS
A MINISTRY SPONSORSHIP - Once the initial requisites of accountability have been satisfied, efforts will be made to secure two (2) monthly sponsorships of $35.00 for each national
preacher. From each of these sponsorships, the national preacher receives $28.00 while the other $7.00 is used for accountability expenses (such as, international travel, postage, correspondence, wire transfers and personnel). The national preacher will use his portion of the sponsorship to provide his family with food, clothing, shelter, education, transportation, medicine and other daily necessities.
AN OUTREACH SPONSORSHIP - All national preachers sponsored through Gospelink are actively involved in evangelism but often lack the resources they need to be most effective. To help with outreach, efforts will be made to secure one monthly sponsorship of $25.00 for each national preacher who is already receiving a ministry sponsorship. From this amount the national preacher receives $20.00, while the other $5.00 is used for accountability expenses. Funds may be used to assist in village, urban and youth evangelism, for travel expenses, or to provide outreach materials such as Bibles, gospel literature, and visual aids, etc.
A TRAINING SPONSORSHIP - All national preachers sponsored through Gospelink have already been trained for ministry as outlined in II Timothy 2:2. In most cases, they have also received training through a seminary, Bible college, or institute. To help with continuing training, efforts will be made to secure one monthly sponsorship of $15.00 for each national preacher who is already receiving a ministry sponsorship. From this amount the national preacher receives $12.00 while the other $3.00 is used for accountability expenses. The funds will be used to provide study materials and to help cover the costs of national and regional training opportunities for the preacher personally or for someone he directly oversees.
GO LINK INTERNATIONAL - The acronym GO stands for General Operations. This sponsorship helps to offset the general expenses incurred at one international office, such as telephone, postage, supplies, utilities, equipment, personnel, training, translation and travel. GO Link International sponsors receive a quarterly report from the national board of the country they have selected.
GO LINK AMERICA- This sponsorship helps to offset the general operating expenses incurred at the home office, such as telephone, printing, postage, supplies, utilities, equipment, personnel, training and expansion. GO Link America sponsors receive the monthly newsletter but do not receive a quarterly report.
